All of the local partners including PCI Gulf South, Jackson Precast, and Tindall Precast were very helpful in working with the students to research and design connections and the process to create and install their precast concrete designs.
The students at Mississippi State designed a precast parking garage with street level retail and a connection to an existing building in downtown Starkville, MS that is owned by Mississippi State University and is labeled the “Innovation Hub.” The studio was composed of 10 teams with 2 Building Construction Science students and 3 Architecture students.
