What is Required After You Get The Grant?

What is Required After You Get The Grant?

Keeping in touch with your local partner is the key to success, and sharing your news with the PCI Foundation will help the Foundation assess your success for future funding

Before the Semester Starts
Make sure that you have a plan in place that includes your local partner and that times are scheduled (although some flexibility will always be needed).

Week One
Right away, you can do some things that will make your program easier:

Become a Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Professional Member.

A reduced professor membership rate is available on the website (pci.org). This will allow you to get discounts or free entry into PCI events and also ensure you are receiving PCI Publications.

Ask your students to join as PCI members for free

this is also available on the PCI website. They will receive publications and free or reduced rates at the convention if they attend.

During the Semester
Tag PCI Foundation on Social Media

Invite PCI Foundation to Events
If you are having reviews or pin ups, be sure to include the PCI Foundation Trustees and Partners in the invitation to your events.

Prepare a Poster for the PCI Convention
Each program should have a poster that shows either a single student project or a general idea of student work during the program at the PCI Convention. Information about the PCI Convention is supplied to each school and travel support is provided in addition to the grant.

Invite Students to Participate in Project Precast.

Outlined elsewhere in this document.

At the End of the Semester / Program Year
Send an Annual Report. Upon the completion of either the semester, or the program year, an annual report should be provided to the PCI Foundation as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding.

Ask Student to Fill Out Survey

At the conclusion of your semester, share the email provided by the PCI Foundation and ask students to fill out the survey about the program for a chance to win a $500 gift card.
