Student Chapters

Student membership in the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute is free. In some cases, students have used that membership to create student chapters at their universities.

A PCI Student Chapter may be formed to

  • Help acquaint students with the precast/prestressed concrete industry

  • Further student education about design and construction,

  • Foster interdisciplinary education and communication

  • Administer industry scholarships

  • Provide structure for industry competitions

  • Provide learning travel opportunities for students to regional and national conventions, and

  • Create networking opportunities for students with local precast industry.

Student Chapters shall be solely responsible for operating the Chapter in compliance with policies and procedures established by their respective institutions. PCI shall not be held responsible for the collection, disbursement or reporting of Student Chapter funds to its host University.
