A milestone has been reached as we conclude 2019 with more than 500 students at 25 different universities taking part in the Foundation’s carefully curated studios and programs to teach precast.
Local Precasters have partnered with architecture, engineering, construction management and sometimes a meld of multiple departments to provide hands-on and interactive teaching at some of the top universities in the USA.
Applications for these multi-year curriculum grants continue to come in for 2020, 2021 and 2022, and are exceeding all prior years.
“There has never been a more important time to assure the next generation knows about the benefits of precast concrete,” said Marty McIntyre, PCIF’s executive director. “Anyone interested in being involved as a sponsor, the benefits will far outweigh the sponsorship cost. Call me!”
