During it's July 23, 2019 annual meeting, the PCI of Illinois & Wisconsin made a $10,000 donation to the PCI Foundation. "We are very grateful for this donation, and it will go a long way with helping us reach students," says PCI Chairman Jim Voss of JVI. "Knowing that we have the support of the PCI regions is one of the ways we know the PCI Foundation is on the right path. They know, more than anyone, what is happening in the field because they work directly with the students we are trying to reach."
PCI of Illinois & Wisconsin was the first PCI region to work with the Foundation on its Precast Studio program when it helped sponsor a program at the Illinois Institute of Technology taught by professor Tom Brock in 2007.
The mission of the PCI Foundation is to foster educational initiatives focused on innovative approaches to the integrated and sustainable use of precast concrete design, fabrication and construction.
