The new precast prestressed education program at Minnesota State University at Mankato received attention from its local news channel. Professors Farhad Reza and Mohamid Diab from the Civil Engineering and Construction Management schools will work with local partner Wells Concrete to take on the challenge of a "real world" project. The students will have the chance to see a typical precast concrete project come together.
The school will receive the $100,000 grant over four years. Students from both departments will work together on the projects.
