BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MARIETTA
A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS: The PCI Foundation was founded in 2001 to bring together educators, students and local partners to assure the future of the precast industry; and
WHEREAS: The PCI Foundation is meeting in Marietta, Georgia May 17-20, 2022 for its annual Professors Seminar; and
WHERAS: James R. Voss, the founder and visionary for the Foundation is in Marietta being celebrated by the precast industry and leading architecture, engineering and construction management educators from as far away as Hawaii; and
WHEREAS: The City of Marietta recognizes Jim Voss and the PCI Foundation for also making a difference at our own Kennesaw State University and the future architects who will be designing tomorrow’s buildings; now
THEREFORE: Be it resolved that for all the good works that will impact the cities of tomorrow, thanks to Jim Voss and the PCI Foundation; I, Steve “Thunder” Tumlin, Mayor of the City of Marietta, do proclaim Thursday, May 19th, 2022, as
JIM VOSS AND PCI FOUNDATION APPRECIATION DAY
throughout the City of Marietta!
