$500 Foundation Prize Goes to Washington University in St. Louis Architecture Student Sydnee Strong

"I had to read this email several times to make sure it was real life," said Sydnee Strong, the winner of the PCI Foundation's annual student survey. "I am incredibly honored and excited." Strong is working on her Master of Architecture (MArch) at Washington University in St. Louis and expects to graduate in 2024.

The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts has a long history of pioneering research and offers a practice-oriented experience, including participation in a PCI Foundation precast studio. The studio is led by Pablo Moyano Fernandez, Assistant Professor.

Each year the PCI Foundation sends a survey to students who are participating in one of the precast studios at universities across the USA. This year more than 225 students responded and Strong was chosen to receive the $500 prize. She told the Foundation she planned on using it for a study abroad semester in Barcelona.
