What PCI Foundation Sessions
The PCI Foundation has two sessions at the PCI Convention that are intended for Professors, both those receiving grants, and others, to talk about pedagogy and issues unique to the university compus.
Professors Round Table
Friday March 4, 8 am - 9:30 am
The Professors Round Table takes place on Friday from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. It is intended as a casual place to exchange ideas and information. Come prepared to share your best practices - all the things that really worked well that others might use as well as any issues where you are seeking advice. And the ears of the PCI Foundations staff and Trustees are listening. We want to know how we can work our best with you.
Professor Show and Tell
Saturday March 5, 8 am - 11:00 am
The "Show and Tell" portion is a simple report on what you have done or will be doing during the 2021/2022 academic year. We would like to see a brief overview of the program and then really dig in to the relationship between the industry and the school.
What happens when students leave the school? What kind of results have you seen over the last few years of your program? How has this changed the way your students view precast? Give us stories about students reactions. It would be great to see pictures of student work, student tours, critiques, etc. You will only have 10 minutes each. There will be a computer and projector available - please have no more than 15-20 slides.
